Better late then never!!
So I just wanted to post some pictures of Wyatt playing on the beach and in the ocean for the first time. Our trip was so much fun and just what we all needed! A little get away, some salty fresh air and some sand between our toes! Oh and we must not forget great family and new animal friends.

Loving the sand and completely loving to lay on his belly and flop around like a fish to get the full effect of what it brought to his skin.

He loved the water and didn't mind that his little legs couldn't get away from the wave fast enough or that he tripped and fell into the cold water.
Daddy and Wyatt as the sun is setting on our first day.
Wyatt loved chasing the pigeons near our hotel.
Brody and Wyatt enjoying eachothers company while walking down to the beach.

It was such a nice time! The beach was right down the steps from out hotel. The weather was cool but not too cool! Everything was perfect!!! I don't think anyone wanted to come home!

The Big 30!
So Cory (sister obviously) and I are the big 30! I wondered how I would feel turning 30 and to my surprise I am happy to embrace this turning point in my life. Is it a turning point? I don't really feel any different but my 20s are over. Wow my 20s are over! I had a good life in my 20s. I lived life the way I would have wanted to. I was happy, I did the things I wanted to do, I married my soul mate, I gave birth to my son, I was surrounded by people who love me, I got my degree as a registered nurse and worked in a challenging hospital for over a year. My 20s were full of fun and laughter. Oh don't get me wrong they had there trying times also but all in all I feel good about my past and am looking forward to what the next 10 will bring. Today was a good day with a little roller coaster of emotions to go with it.

We started off our day at 5:30am when my mom came over to watch the kiddos so that we could go vote. We wanted to start early so we wouldn't be standing in line all day. We ended up standing in line for a little over an hour, grabbed some Mcdonalds breakfast and made it home by 7:30. Whew now we can spend the day the way we want to!
We then opened the moon roof, turned up the music, and let the wind blow in our hair as we were off to get an hour and a half message! (Our treat to ourselves and a little help from others:))
We then got some absolutely wonderful exciting news from our sister and we celebrated all over again! :)
It was a wonderful day!
Thank you for all your phone calls, emails, text messages and phone messages!
Happy Birthday my dear sweet sister! I am so blessed have you to spend this special day with! I love you!
To another happy 30 years!!!

We then had lunch together at PF Changs. We enjoyed some lettuce wraps and some honey chicken. It was delicious!!!

A happy October!
October seemed to fly by with all the business of the month. We did get to have a bunch of fun this month with everything that was going on for the season. We went to a pumpkin patch so that Wyatt could pick out his very own pumpkin this year. He wanted to climb on all the pumpkins and got to go through the little hay maze they had set up. He had a good time.
some how he always manages to get dirty and have the messiest face of anyone around!
His big cousin showed him how to sit on the pumpkin so that is exactly what he wanted to do!

Cory , Brody, and Wyatt having fun carving the pumpkin!
Cory let Brody pick out what he wanted this years pumpkin carving to be. So Blues Clues it was!
