So, I love looking around at different blogs and getting ideas for holiday crafts for my kiddos. I found this idea at crafts-for-all-seasons.com. It looked like it would be fun but turned out a little difficult for Wyatt and Brodes. But here we are trying it any way.
We used a thin thread (the thread that we used to make friendship bracelets) and stuck it in fabric stiffener. We then wrapped it around little blown up water balloons that were similar to an egg shape.
We then hung them up and let them dry. After they were dry, we popped the balloons so that all we had left was the shell.
