A day of Sisterhood!

Well, since Jamie was out of town in San Diego for her birthday we decided to have a sister day the following weekend to celebrate her birthday. (Minus one sister who was dearly missed :)) We started the day with coffee and some breakfast and then decided to get a little pampering done.
It was a beautiful morning full of great friends and great conversations
Jamie got a manicure because her toe had not healed from a possible break and didn't want to get it squeezed and scrubbed. I can't imagine why not!!! So it was her birthday celebration and she got to sit off by herself and wait for our pedicures to be done. :(
This might be the only picture you will ever see of any evidence of Jess getting a pedicure. I think it was only the second time she has gotten one in her life. I think she enjoyed it and kept looking at her toes not used to having color on her nails! It looked lovely! :)

Cory relaxed and into a magazine enjoying the scrub down! Did you want callus remover with that? Only five dolla more!!! :)

We then headed to Jamie's house for some Mediterranean pizzas and grilled cheese and pesto sandwiches. We made Jam and Jess an extra dirty martini while Cory and I enjoyed ourselves a landshark while playing loaded questions. It was hilarious! We then headed to my parents for Pizza and dessert.

Mom had made some delicious cupcakes and beautiful brownie cake! It was a perfect 4th of July Birthday Celebration! thanks everyone for making the day so special!!!! Love you!

San Diego

Wyatt had his first plane ride on our trip to San Diego. He did really good! On the way there Wyatt wanted to see everyone and everything and tried climbing on everything. He did not cry once. On the way home, he was really tired so I was thinking this is either really good or really bad! He ended up sleeping the whole way home!
We spent a lot time at Seaport Village because it was in walking distance from our Hotel. Cory had some conferences he had to go to during the day so Wyatt and I spent some nice time outdoors enjoying the smell of the ocean.
Cory would meet up with us when his classes ended and we would have a great time! We were right across the bay from Coronado Island but didn't realize it until the last day.
We loved spending time in this big grassy park right over looking the ocean. It was a beautiful day!
It was a short trip but it was just what our little family needed!

Cousin Love

Wyatt wants to do everything that cousin Brody does. He follows him everywhere he goes and wants to be everywhere that Brody is. Brody loves to peek out their new bedroom window and yell for the doggies to come to the window. Magie will jump up to the window and Brody squeals with delight! Wyatt will then squeal with delight just because Broders does!

Wyatt and Broders in the tub. Wyatt likes taking a bath with Broders until he starts splashing around, then Wyatt likes to try and make a quick exit!

They have a lot of fun together. It has been nice to have someone who entertains Wyatt so well join in the family! We are so happy for our new Roommates!

8 months old!

Wyatt has been under the weather for the past several weeks. He got sick during our camping trip which brought us home early. He started out with a cold but it has just been getting worse. So now he is getting breathing treatments each day along with an antibiotic and steroid. Not fun for a little 8 month old to have to deal with during his busy days of play! He has his follow up appointment tomorrow so we will see what they have to say. On May 24th Wyatt turned 8 months old! I can't believe what a little boy he is becoming! He loves to crawl around and if he isn't moving quit as fast as he wants to, he will act like a little spider and scurry across the floor on his hands and feet. He is a pro at pulling himself up on things and has just recently started letting go of what he is near and standing by himself for several seconds. He then bends his knees to lower himself to the ground. I am just amazed at all that he can do. He has been waving his hand for a while now but started doing it to say bye bye, not always on command. He is such a happy boy and laughs just watching other kids have fun! He is loving his new house mate and wants to follow him around every where!!!
He is so much fun and I love waking up to his changes every day! Happy 8 months little boy! We love you!!!!
