We got these little Red Clawed Crabs about a week ago and we have all enjoyed watching them ever since! They started out just hiding in the cave but now spend most of their days above water on top of the plants or the filter. One of them has noticeably red claws and his name is Mister Grumpy Stripes named from Wyatt's favorite movie in the whole world, Madagascar! The other crab's claws aren't as red and the poor thing doesn't have a name yet. Daddy is in charge of his name and we have gotten a few names thrown out that get a laugh but don't stick! So, we will just wait and see what else he comes up with!

Earth Day!!!
In trying to make our family live a little greener when possible, I ran across this website and thought I would share. Yellowpagesgoesgreen.org I don't know if you all continue to use the yellow and white pages that are delivered to your door each year but know I haven't opened one in quiet some time. If you go to this website you can cancel your yearly delivery and in doing so save many resources in return. This website explains that over 500 million directories are being printed and delivered each year and in doing so:
- 19 million trees need to be harvested
- 1.6 billion pounds of paper are wasted
- 7.2 million barrels of oil are misspent in their processing (not including the wasted gas used for their delivery to your doorstep)
- 268,000 cubic yards of landfill are taken up

A perfect getaway!!
We went to Fossil Creek to celebrate Jessie's 28th B-day. It was a great day for celebration! The day started off a little cool but then turned perfect. We packed a picnic lunch and set up camp on a sandy beach near the creek. The creek was so clear with greens and blues showing through.
It didn't take long for the little kiddos clothes to start shedding off!

the infamous red sparkly shoes!!!
The red sparkly shoes that are so adored by journey and Brody and have caused many tears and heartaches when seen on others feet have now touched the feet of their newest admirer!
I don't know what is happening these days but the "right" shoes can make or break our day!!! I never thought Wyatt would be so particular about his shoes but he is definitely following in his cousin's foot steps!

A new Adventure
We were invited to tag along with auntie Hess to the Arizona puppet theater to watch the three little pigs. Never having been to this theater, I didn't know what to expect but thought it would be fun for little Wyatt. I started talking to Wyatt and Brody about the show a couple days in advanced and they seemed pretty excited about it.
Broders wasn't loving the atmosphere as we stepped into the theater and were surrounded by puppets. He decided to move under the bench even before the show started to hide from the big bad wolf. Luckily mommy was there so when the show started he was safe on her lap and started waving and saying "hi" to the little piggies. When the big bad wolf came out, Broders was a brave boy!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!!
We decided to make our way out to Fountain Hills again this year to see the big fountain turn green! This year it was on Saturday so Daddy got to go!
Auntie Hess gave these glasses to Broders to wear and it was his mission to make sure they stayed on him the whole time! He thought he ruled the whole park!

Grandma and Grandpa's House
We like to get out to Grandma and Grandpa's house at least once a week if possible to see all the animals and play on the farm! There is so much to see and experience and so much land to explore. Grandma usually takes the boys around to feed the animals and collect eggs from the chickens and the ducks and Grandpa usually takes them around the horses and takes them on rides in the BIG tractor. It is so much fun for them.
Broders and Wyatt checking out the turtle. This is the fastest turtle I have ever seen!
The boys love to get the eggs from the chickens but are a little nervous to go in the ducks hideout and pick up her eggs:) It is always a good morning when we go out on the farm and on the way home, I usually give the boys about 2 minutes and look back and they are both passed out!! Makes my job a little easier! Thanks Grandma and grandpa for all the fun and love!!!
