My little flower garden helper

Any one who knows me (especially my husband) knows that I don't have even a little hint of green thumb! I am very successful at killing plants and am reminded of it every time I want some living greenery in my house. I love having plants around but they just don't seem to last very long for some reason or another. With this said, you can only imagine the pride I take in my little flower garden that I planted last summer in the front yard of our house. I managed to put in a drip system and everything! It was much more work than I thought it would be but was well worth it. This flower garden has lasted for about a year now and I am amazed! So the other day I was tending to my little garden trying to tidy it up a bit and I brought Wyatt outside to have a little fun himself. He enjoyed himself for a while and then decided he was finished. I didn't get much tiding up so I will leave it for another day. The red flower just bloomed and was my easter gift from my mom last year. I plan on planting my easter flowers from her this year on Saturday.
This flower has just bloomed. I love watching to see what new flower has popped up.
These flowers have taken over the whole bed and these are the ones who need a little maintenance.

Enjoying a few tasty treats while we work!

Six months already!

Wyatt is six months old and the months just went by way to fast! He is such a little boy now with a sweet personality. He loves to smile at everyone. He is sitting up really well on his own and can play with his toys while sitting by himself. He loves to role all over the house to get where he wants to go. He has not quit figured out how to crawl yet but looks like it won't take him to long. I will take all the time I can get! I have not baby proofed anything and have many things he shouldn't get into at floor level. I guess I better get my booty in gear. He is eating baby food now and has tasted sweet peas, bananas, cereal, and sweet potatoes. I think the sweet potatoes are his favorite because he gobbled up the whole container last night. He now weighs a little past 18 pounds. He has a new big boy car seat that he rides in. He does not always love it but usually is fine when the car is moving! He continues to sleep in his bassinet in his bedroom but Papa will soon be finished with a brand new crib for him. We are so excited to see Papa's creation.

Hope Notes

While reading Jessie's Blog I was inspired to follow along in a project called Hope Revolution. Lately I have been feeling like I have many good intentions and ideas that I would like to accomplish but some how a day turns into a week and a week turns into a month and my intentions are left in the dust. This has really been bothering me! I guess I feel like I don't MAKE things happen I just let them stay in the back of my mind. Well after talking with my sister about some of life's everyday problems, we made a plan to do something about some of the things that were bothering me. Well this made me feel great! I decided I need to take charge and make things happen especially if these things are the things in my life that make me feel good and are a bettering experience for me. So like Jess challenged her readers I will challenge mine to do as I am and Join in on the Hope Revolution. I know the challenge had a date of March 1st, but I think it is never to late to be a part of something like this. Click on the side bar for more info! I think everyone should just Do it!!!!

My favorite Cowboys!

Little cowboy Wyatt hanging out with Grandpa Rauch loving the company!
He can almost drive this tractor already! Ok so maybe his feet don't touch the gas pedal but he is all ready to go for a ride! I could not believe what a big boy he looked like when I put him in the tractor! This tractor was a Christmas present from grandma and grandpa for all the grandkids at the Rauch Ranch. Oh what fun!
Wyatt and cousin Noah sitting on a horse ready to go for a trot.
Wyatt on his first horse! Isn't he a cute little cowboy. He looks like he is ready for his eight seconds.... Oh wait I guess that is a bull. I better never see my boy on a bull!!!!!
Howdy folks. He loved this hat and it fit him just perfect. I think this is what he should wear out in the sun from now on because it shades his entire body!!!
Grandpa Rauch hanging with the horses watching the others practice their roping.
Look at Cory go! He has found a new hobby and love for roping. After he got his first rope for Christmas ( A pink one of all colors!) and got a one on one lesson from his dad, he was ready for the real deal.
Doesn't he look like a pro! He is missing his wranglers! ( Wrangler butts drive me nuts!!)
Curtis herding in the steer. These boys looked good out there!
The cousins enjoying each others company! Wyatt loves all of his cousins and just smiles all day long.

I think I need a bigger swing!

Depending on when Wyatt wakes up in the morning, I will put him in his swing and let him watch a Baby Einstein video so that I have time to actually wake up or I try and get an extra 30min of shut eye before I really have to wake up! Well I have been finding him sideways in his swing just hanging out. The swing is not swinging because of the weight on one side thank goodness or I might have a little boy dragging on the floor! Anyways I can't believe that these swing days are numbered. Now what do I do?

My first Tonka!

Well Wyatt is to little to push his tonka truck around but he is getting some use out of it.
