Grandma and Grandpa's House

We like to get out to Grandma and Grandpa's house at least once a week if possible to see all the animals and play on the farm! There is so much to see and experience and so much land to explore. Grandma usually takes the boys around to feed the animals and collect eggs from the chickens and the ducks and Grandpa usually takes them around the horses and takes them on rides in the BIG tractor. It is so much fun for them.
Brody has gotten really good at driving the little tractor around the farm. Wyatt has just started to trust Brody enough to sit in the passenger seat:)
Wyatt playing with the ducks
Whenever grandma gets the apples out for the turtle and the rabbits, the boys all of a sudden really really need apples too!
This time little Grant got to go on the farm with us and here they are feeding the deer with Grandma Rauch.

Broders and Wyatt checking out the turtle. This is the fastest turtle I have ever seen! The boys love to get the eggs from the chickens but are a little nervous to go in the ducks hideout and pick up her eggs:) It is always a good morning when we go out on the farm and on the way home, I usually give the boys about 2 minutes and look back and they are both passed out!! Makes my job a little easier! Thanks Grandma and grandpa for all the fun and love!!!

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin!

The MOTIVATION: Brody had come over to our house not to long ago with a cool pair of Car skates on. Wyatt watched as Broders learned to walk/skate.
The SKATES:
As I was browsing around in Goodwill for some hidden treasure that usually finds us each time we make a visit, I came across these! Well should I say one of these and luckily we had a treasure hunter with us that found the other one not to far away. I decided I would just get them to see how Wyatt did. It really doesn't get any better than a $3 pair of skates. Last visit we got a $2 bag of motorcycles that has now become Wyatt's favorite thing in the whole world! (Well, balls are still pretty high up on the list!) Anyway he had to go to sleep with his two favorite motorcycles the first night he had them and really hasn't let them out of his sight since. The FUN: His first attempt at skating. I decided a helmet might be a good idea after he fell a few times! He loves them. It is so fun to see Wyatt experience something that I had so much fun with as a kid myself. Cory (sister) and I aggree that our skates like this didn't roll as good as these boys do!
the LOVE: "Come on mommy! Lets go!"

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Ok, or just let it keep raining! So December has been a busy month. It keeps getting closer and closer to Christmas! Usually Christmas sneaks up on us, but this year we tried to join in the festivities and soak up the season before it was to late.

Counting down the days!
Finding the perfect Christmas tree and adding it to our home!It has been a tradition ever since I was born, that every year my Grandpa gives us all ornaments. So this is a tree filled with memories of each year that has passed.

Putting our little angel on the top of the tree! Always a special time except for some reason I couldn't get it on straight and was killing Cory's back while his face was stuck in the tree!

Little Wyatt bear looking at the ornaments.

This was an exciting time for little Wyatt and Broders!

It has been so cold in the mornings yet every morning you can bet these two boys want to go play outside. So they put on their boots, coats, and occasionally their hats and off they go.

We had a fun baking day with some great friends and their kiddos. It turned into a sprinkle mess but it was so much fun! The kids decorated the cookies or should I say poured heaping piles of sugar on the cookies!

We made crunchy pretzel snowman which surprisingly turned out pretty cute. Brody just wants to eat the scarfs off of them all! Wyatt sucks the chocolate off like a sucker.Oh wait, maybe not so cute!

All the little kiddos eating cookies and cereal while watching the Grinch.

The girls at the beginning of the festivities! I should have taken a picture of everyone at the end:) It was so much fun! I really think this should be the beginning of a tradition girls!

Wyatt in his Christmas pajamas that Grandpa and Grandma Rauch gave both him and Broders. He loves to climb through this doggy door even though he knows this is a no no!

the two boys on a cold morning in their jammies doing what they love! (digging in the dirt)
Cory and the boys watching the Grinch

Friends coming over and exchanging Christmas presents. Wyatt is getting pretty good at tearing open the presents! He tore one open this morning that he wasn't supposed to!

He then decided he wanted to ride his friend Crew and threw a temper tantrum when Crew was taken from him to go home!
It has been a very good month I have to say!
Christmas will soon be here and then gone, so I will soak up as much as I can in these next two days. I hope all of you have a very merry Christmas!!!

My little football player!

Every year Cory and the guys get together for Turkey bowl. Although the last couple years have turned into flag football, the game continues on! This is the first year that Wyatt has been aware of what was going on. Oh and boy was he ready!
Ready Hike!

Who is open?
